longish starting hole sets the tone for the rest of the course.
A well struck drive should just avoid the long fairway bunker on
the right if you want to reach the green in two.
The player going for the green must avoid
the 4 bunkers that surrond the green and the lake that borders the
left side. Otherwise laying up will leave the short pitch to the
flattish green and a chance for birdie first up.
