The Classic Golf Resort, having set the benchmark in the Indian Golf scenario, is now progressing towards setting standards in hosting golf and non-golf events, unprecedented in the country, for members, guests and special invitees which include members of the top echelons of the elite, the arts, diplomats and bureaucracy. We have bought in experts and professionals to conduct workshops and hold demonstrations on subjects as varied as cooking, flower arranging, aromatherapy, reiki, and creating cartoons. There are tournaments, competitions, cycle trails, trekking, bird watching to fill up the days-theme dinners, music, dance performances and plenty of merry making around campfires in the evenings.
Below is the list of prominent events held at the Classic Golf Resort:
* French Food Festival 'Touch of France' where a renowned French chef - Philip Laloux was flown down from Canada who treated our members and select guess to the very best in French cuisine. A mega evening with perfect french ambience, the event will linger in everybody's mind for a long time to come.
* The JJ Valaya Fashion show where the fall winter trousseau collection was presented by top of the line models of the country. Presented to our high profile audience it enjoyed a massive media coverage and was a resounding success.
* Festival of Spirits, a day beginning with a golf tournament, the event saw the participation of several distinguished people like Kapil Dev, Ajay Jadeja, Vyantimala Bali etc. It was followed by an evening of entertainment with a live band playing in the background.
* Business Today Pro-Am was held in November. The top pros of the country like Gaurav Ghai, Amrintender Singh, Ali sher, Inderjeet Bhalona along with the amateurs made it a an exclusive golf tournament with the headlines in the sports section of the press.
* The Wills Master Golf Tournament which was a national level affair was a success with Uttam Sing Mundy, Arjun singh, ali Sher and other famous pros participating in the tournament. this again received a vast media coverage.
* The Ford Men's Member Guest Tournament was held over two days with approximately 200 people golfing each day. The participants were the heads of various Corporate Houses and large enterprises. The tournament was followed by a prize distribution, gala dinner and dance. A delicious spread of French cuisine was laid out by the chef Philip Laloux, especially flown down to India from Canada for the event.
* The Asha Bhonsle Concert, which was held at the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium to a crowd of 60,000 proved to be a great success. The press conference for the same was held at the Classic Golf Resort, where she faced the Delhi press after a gap of 15 years.
* The Classic Golf Resort was chosen as the venue for hosting the Concorde Tournament, in which participants from all over the world flew down to the Capital in the Concorde to participate and were greatly impressed with the Classic Golf Resort.
* Debut by "Klang", a Finnish band at Classic Golf Resort on Christmas Eve.
* A two week Christmas and New Year Carnival was held at the Children's Play Area where numerous games and shows were organized for our members families and their friends.
